I’m Niklas, a system engineer from Vorarlberg. I work around enterprise applications and infrastructure, then spend my free time convincing old operating systems and consoles to participate in the modern internet.

I’m 20 and from Vorarlberg, Austria. I graduated from HTL Dornbirn in 2025, specialising in Industrial Engineering and Management. Since August 2026, I’ve worked at Doppelmayr as a System Engineer — Applications.
My work covers enterprise applications, infrastructure, Linux environments, administration, troubleshooting and modernization. Outside work, I spend time on legacy operating systems, old hardware, networking and compatibility problems.
Graduated in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. Assessify was my diploma project.

TLS13DS is a standalone TLS client library for Nintendo 3DS homebrew. It packages mbedTLS 3.6.6 with the platform glue the console needs: sockets, timeouts, hardware entropy, SNI, ALPN and a small C++ interface.
It supports TLS 1.2 and 1.3 and has been tested on an original launch-model 3DS. It is active experimental work rather than production-ready security software — an important distinction when certificates are involved.

A living collection of tools, drivers, patches and notes for getting Windows 7 onto machines built long after it was supposed to retire. Current testing includes a 2022 HP Victus, UEFI boot, NVMe/VMD storage and Intel RST drivers.
The repository is maintained as a practical reference and ongoing work log.
